1. How Christmas Originated

2. One day during winter a kid named Nick had a good idea. He would make a toy for his best friend. He then had a better idea. He decided to make toys for the rest of the kids in his town.

3. That night December 24 he finished his toys for the kids. He decided to put them on their doorsteps without telling them he put them there. The next morning the kids woke up and found the toys.

4. After a few years of this he had to move so that the kids didn’t find out that it was him. He liked the snow of where he lived but there were too many people so he decided to move.

5. He finally decided to move to the North Pole. The problem came up how to deliver the presents so he found some reindeer. He then also decided to make presents for everyone in the world.

6. Everyone called him Saint Nick. Eventually people called him Santa Claus. This is how Christmas originated and Santa became known around the world.
