If your organization uses the Tyler Dashboard, Munis Version 9.1 is available in a Web-based interface called GWC-SL. The GWC-SL screens are very similar in function to desktop versions of Munis; however, the screens open in your Web browser using Microsoft® Silverlight™ technology. Unless otherwise specified, the content of this presentation is based on the GWC-SL interface.

Permits and Code Enforcement Apply for a Business License Online The following changes have been made to Permits and Code Enforcement programs in order to facilitate the processing of business account applications submitted through Citizen Self Service.

Inspection Levels You are able to assign levels to inspections. This allows you to establish an order of priority for inspection scheduling. You can establish different priority levels for different categories of inspections, such as electrical or plumbing, by creating trade type codes and assigning those codes to inspection types.

Permit Types All of the fee-related fields, such as Fee Code 1 or 2 and Statistic 1 or 2, have been removed from the main screen, as have the Permit Types array at the top of the screen and the Items and Fee Codes buttons.

The Permit Fees screen is available. This screen displays when you click the Fees button on the main screen and allows you to associate an unlimited number of default fee codes with the permit type.

The Fee array is available on the Fees tab. This array lists all of the fees associated with the permit. You can double-click a fee code to view the Permit Fees screen. –The Fees button is available. When you click this button, the program displays the Permit Fees screen. This screen allows you to manage all the fees associated with the permit.

The Header panel displays contact and location information for the contractor. When you click More, the panel displays insurance and escrow information for the contractor.

This program allows you to manage scheduling of tasks, such as inspections or work order services, using a central calendar that you can access directly from a Munis program. Scheduler Central integrates with Microsoft Exchange, so when you schedule an appointment in Scheduler Central, the user’s Exchange calendar is updated accordingly. You can also use Scheduler Central to map the locations of the appointments on a calendar.
