3. MEDEX Spot Unmanned Micro Clinics will be located in Drug Stores, Supermarkets and Hospital ER Waiting Rooms The MEDEX Spot cabin has a range of automatic (patent pending) cleanliness features making it safe for multiple patients to use the clinic throughout the day

4. The MEDEX Spot Unmanned Micro Clinic is housed in a small footprint (5ft x 6ft) cabin which is noise proofed to provide patient privacy. A patient in a supermarket wishing to use the MEDEX Spot cabin purchases a SMART card from the in store pharmacy and then visits the MEDEX Spot E-Check In Terminal The patient enters medical record details and the reason for the visit on the E-Check In Terminal Touch Screen then stands on the scales where height and weight are measured automatically. All data is stored on the SMART card

6. The patient uses the SMART card to gain access to the MEDEX Spot cabin and to uplink the stored medical data by satellite to the Medical Call Center At the Medical Call Center the Medical Practitioner receives on a terminal the patient data stored on the SMART card and uses a two way video link to conduct a patient interview and examination

7. The Medical Practitioner at the Medical Call Center requests the patient to interact with the various vital signs monitoring devices in the cabin. Each device sends data back to the MCC for evaluation by the Medical Practitioner When all tests are completed the Medical Practitioner can either (A) send electronically a prescription to the pharmacy in the store of (B) send a blood/specimen test electronically to a diagnostics lab or (C) request the patient goes to a manned clinic or Emergency Room depending on the diagnosis
