Children, Young People and Families Early Intervention Fund Looked After Children

Early engagement Families with a child at risk of becoming looked after – tackle key challenges Services for carers (kinship, foster, adopters) – e.g. training in dealing with problematic behaviour that doesn’t meet CAHMS thresholds Services for children on long term home supervision

Corporate parenting Services which show how the third sector can: – Support the corporate parenting effort, working in partnership with CPPs; – Improve opportunities for children and young people to maintain existing relationships; and – Evidence improved outcomes across all measures, targeting gaps in provision.

Mentoring Local mentoring schemes wishing to take part in the National Mentoring Scheme (NMS). Schemes will need to work with our appointed scheme manager to come within the parameters of the NMS.

Specialised services Services unlikely to get funding elsewhere but which would make a significant wellbeing contribution to a small number of children and young people, such as Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC), trafficked children etc.
