Email layout external Email layout internal Used to be here (exchange) Now it is at Globalnet.us (Cleveland, Wi) Negatives 1.It isn’t here 2.Each computer needs to be set up 3.Your are not downloading email Positives Positives 1.Spamguard 2.Virus goes to them 3.One less thing for us to do at that time

Junk email/spam Click actions, junk email, junk email options Click actions, junk email, junk email optionsOptions Should be set to high, check junk box often Safe Senders Block Senders International???

How to set safe or blocked sender Right click an email Go to junk email Or manually do it

Folders for Storage Click File, New Folder, New Folder Type name Point to where you want Folder to go Drag emails like files

Adding/Deleting contacts Click contacts, new (contact) Remember to save

2 nd Option Have a contact but don’t have one Open a new email, in the to box type the first letter of the email

Adding/Deleting groups Click contacts, hit the arrow next to new and choose distribution Either select member or add new New ones won’t save in normal contact list

Deleting Enter contacts and select contact or group Click edit, delete. You will sent emails even if address don’t exist. You just will get the email bounced back. i.e. clorenz@mlhslancers.com

Stationary Understand outlook uses word Why not just use word 3 ways 1.Format, Themes 2.Format, Background 3.Using help and Microsoft Online to find one

Signatures Open an email click option arrow choose signature You will need to close this email and start another one

Attachments Open a new email Click the paperclip Select file or files Hit insert. They should show up under the subject line Make sure it is not over 6MB

Viewing Home email at school Set up new account You will need user name, password, smtp, pop3 address (i.e. mail.lakefield.net) Contact me or Dave to help you. Hit start and right click email button, choose properties Choose Email accounts and then add account Choose pop3 account and enter data You may want to enter more setting to keep email on server so you can view it at home later

Access MLHS email from home http://mail.mlhslancers.com:8383 User name is your email address Password we have (different than windows password, different than gradequick) You are logging into their computer not ours: so your contacts won’t be there, your saved items won’t be there,etc…)

MLHS email offsite In main is your email (from the last 20 days or undeleted ones) Compose to compose a message No more than 10 mb per account
