H OMEWORK First and foremost, always do your homework, not just to get credit, but rather to test your learning and ability to be an independent thinker. You should expect homework daily and make every effort to complete the assignment. If you have difficulty, ask a family member, call a classmate, READ THE BOOK, look over your notes, send me an e-mail or come to Extra Help.
12
H OMEWORK C OMPLETION 100% Fully complete with proper formatting 90% Incorrect formatting and/or few questions incomplete 80% Many questions are incomplete and incorrect formatting 65% All problems written out but none are completed 0% Homework not completed
13
L ATE H OMEWORK AND A SSIGNMENTS Late homework is accepted For every day late, your grade is lowered 10 points from what you would’ve earned If you actually earned an 80% and it’s 2 days late, it’s a 60% in the gradebook If you are missing a worksheet and can’t find it anymore, there are extras (in a limited supply) in the blue bin on the table. A 50% is better than a 0% ***The quality of your homework completion is directly related to your individual class achievement.***
14
A BSENCES If absent, you can always check the homework assignment on SchoolWires or ask a friend. You will have two extra days for each day out to make up the homework. If you are in school but miss math class for any reason, you are responsible for showing me your completed homework before school or during lunch THAT DAY.
