MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND SPATIAL PLANNING, ENVIRONMENTAL AGENCY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA 12 September 2005, Ljubljana & Velenje, Slovenia11 RAC techniques (1/2) The programme (30 hours) covers: Environmental protection legislation (ozone layer depletion, global warming, ODS regulation, F-gases regulation, waste management – recovery, recycling, reclamation, destruction of refrigerants/WEEE…) Refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump techniques –basic cooling, air conditioning and heat pump techniques –classification and characteristics of refrigeration and air conditioning appliances and heat pumps –regulation and control of cooling and air conditioning equipment and heat pumps (safe management)

MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND SPATIAL PLANNING, ENVIRONMENTAL AGENCY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA 12 September 2005, Ljubljana & Velenje, Slovenia13 Acquired knowledge verification –Written examination (legislation, refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump techniques, recovery, recycling…) –Verification of practical skills Participation in the programme - Conditions: –vocational qualification (level IV) in electrical or mechanical engineering, 3 years of work experience in assembly, servicing and maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment –Secondary professional or technical qualification (Level V), usually in electrical or mechanical engineering, irrespective of work experience More than 130 servicemen concluded the programme
