4. Location Generous terrain, but difficult to cultivate. Vineyards grow on very steep slopes, culled from the hills centimeter by centimeter by the hard work of wine grape growers. The production zone includes 15 municipalities and extends over an area of approximately 18,000 hectares of agricultural land, 6100 of which are dedicated to wine grape growing. Vines are grown only on the south-facing part of the hills, at a height that may reach 500 meters.

12. What is Prosecco? Created from predominately Glera grapes (formerly known as Prosecco) in the northern Veneto, Prosecco is light, affordable, and fun. Sometimes combined with a small amount of Pinot Blanc or Pinot Grigio grapes, Prosecco is made using the Charmat method.

13. What is Prosecco? The Charmat method allows the wine to go through the second fermentation in pressurized tanks rather than in individual bottles. No turning the bottles every day as in Champagne. The shorter, tank fermentation is preferable for Prosecco because it preserves the freshness and the flavor of the grapes.

Zeta Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Dry DOCG 100% Glera Produced in limited quantity, this vintage- dated sparkling wine takes its name from the first letter of the Zardetto family name– "Zeta" in Italian. With an elegant and finely textured perlage, Zeta offers layered aromas of orange blossom, lemongrass, peach and tropical fruits.
