10 International Trade Procedures Domain (ITPD) Recommendation 4 – National Trade Facilitation Bodies (NTFB) Originally written in 1974 Previous revision dated from 2001 Was updated to help implementation of WTO TFA Associated with the work of other standards organizations such as Recommendation 40 – Consultation Approaches Important contribution to help further implementation of the WTO TFA. Provides some best p ractices and a tool box for implementation.

17 Methodology & Technologies PDA Conformance Project The project defined what conformance to UN/CEFACT standards entails and how it can be measured 2 projects proposed Review and update clear conformance clauses for every standard and technical specification Establish, possibly in cooperation with other organizations, a conformance registry where users, software developers, and SDOs can make their self- declaration of conformance visible

Target: Policymakers, technical experts, from governments, businesses and international organizations
