1 Welcome to Worship January 10, 2016

2 Matt 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen

3 “Every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter.”

4 Martin Luther King wrote "A religion that professes a concern for the souls of men and is not equally concerned about the slums that strangle them, and the social conditions that cripple them, is a spiritually moribund religion." "We must come to see that the Christian Gospel is a two way road. On one side it seeks to change the souls of men, and on the other side, it seeks to change the environmental conditions of men so that the soul will have a chance after it is changed. Any religion that professes to be concerned with the souls of men and yet is not concerned with the economic and social conditions that strangle them and the social conditions that cripple them is the kind the Marxist describes as "an opiate of the people."
