What is Wellness? What is Health? Wellness: An overall State of Well-Being or total health Health: A combination of physical, mental/emotional and social well being

What is Dynamic Health? Health and wellness falls upon a continuum. Our health is ever changing depending on our mood and the decisions that we make throughout the day.

Health Triangle There are 3 sides to the health triangle Mental/emotionalPhysicalSocial Some may add spiritual in as well

What is Physical Health? Exercise, maintaining a health weight, etc What else do you think is a part of physical health?

What is Mental/Emotional Health? How do you feel? Stress.. What else could be a part of mental/emotional health?

What is social health? Do you get along with classmates, teachers, friends? What else?

What are some healthful things you can do each day to improve your overall all health in the 3 areas of the health triangle?

Do you think each side of the triangle should be equal? Do they need to be equal? Why do you think so ?
