33 What is a Reasonable Accommodation?  A reasonable accommodation is any change in an employee ’ s work environment that would allow them to perform the essential functions of their job and not create an undue hardship on the agency.

36 Things you SHOULD know…..  The ADA was amended this year to expand the definition of “ qualified individual with a disability. ” This is known as the ADA Amendments Act of 2009  The agency has a legal obligation to provide a reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities.

37 Things you SHOULD know…..  Many accommodations can be granted at the local level.  The accommodation process should be interactive.  AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST….
