Kennedy Kennedy was a very charming man who was popular with the media and the American public. He had young kids, was well educated, and surrounded himself with talented advisors. His presidency reminded many of Camelot.

Kennedy surrounded himself with “the best and the brightest” advisors including McGeorge Bundy, Robert McNamara, Dean Rusk, and his brother, Robert Kennedy.

JFK appointed his brother, Robert Kennedy, Attorney General. Bobby Kennedy was one of JFK’s closest advisors and a key supporter of the Civil Rights Movement.
