13 VBB: Management of Fare System The unified VBB fares system has offered a continuous ticket for both states Berlin and Brandenburg since April 1 st, 1999. Variety of tickets: standard price (based on zones – not on effective distances or modes of transportation) tariff valid for one day (one-way-ticket, day ticket, group ticket) tariff valid for a longer period (7-day ticket, monthly ticket, annual ticket, subscription ticket)
