Language Arts – Work Session 05/17/16 Blackout Poetry Select one side of your sheet. Carefully select the words from the text that would make a good poem. Your poem must make sense! It cannot simply be random words that do not make a sentence or phrase. Then, draw a box around your chosen words for your poem. Finally, blackout all the other text, or get creative and turn it into a picture. Be careful not to color over your poem!
