12
Safety If anyone approaches you pointing to stains on your clothes or offering flowers just walk away. Don’t leave valuables on the coach. Mobile phones are o.k. but we don’t want ipads on the trip. Phones are your own responsibility. Make sure you switch data roaming charges off. You must be in groups of 4 or more at all times. Speak to us if you are having any problems whilst away. Medication should be in labelled Ziploc bags and should be handed to us on departure. We will have a comprehensive first aid kit with us whilst away.

Equipment Summer clothing (shorts and t-shirts) for the daytime. Something warm (trousers and hoodie) for evenings and up Vesuvius and light waterproof just in case. Sensible shoes/trainers as we will be out walking for most of the days but walking boots are not needed. Sun cream/sunhat – very important! A large water bottle which can be filled at the hotel each day. A rucksack/bag to put the above items in.

Take some money in Pounds Sterling for return trip from Liverpool. Pupils look after their own money and can use the hotel safe.
