Situation Croatia Threats within the industry: small domestic market – dependence of exports lack of branding and marketing activities dependence on OTP ( Outward Processing Trade scheme ) no strategic orientation, no focus lack of administrative and fiscal support lack of investments and new technologies

Development Croatia Projection: increase of imports of clothing further decrease of working places – more unemployment (mostly women) more dependence on OTP and price pressure –> worse working conditions increase of textile waste on local level

An opportunity … TEXTILE WASTE COLLECTION and preparing REUSE, UPCYCLING and RECYCLING COOPERATIONS with partners increasing their CSR FAIR WORKING CONDITONS for marginalized groups
