Tourism Assessment

Questionnaires Last lesson you wrote your questions For home work you got 10 people to answer these questions Today you will be graphing these answers: We will be drawing a graph to show the information you have got from the questionnaires So who has got their answers?

Results Look at the number of people that have answered your questions (should be around 10) See if you can group together any answers For example: Where do you go on holiday? Spain 6 Italy 1 UK 2 USA 1 Do this for each question Has anyone got a problem? Do you not think you could get your information into a graph?

Graphs Where do you most like to go on holiday? Spain 6 Italy 1 UK 2 USA 1

Using Excel to make a graph Type in your data into excel

Highlight the information needed

Click on Chart Wizard and chose the type of graph you want Chart Wizard Make sure you put a title on. Also, label both axis!

Copy and paste graph into your word document

Analysis of the results Look at the information your graphs are giving you Which destinations or types of activity (whatever the question was about) are the most popular? Describe the shape of the results Give reasons for the differences

Analysis of results Looking at graph 1, it is clear that Spain is the most popular holiday destination from the 10 people that I have questioned. The graph shows that 6 out of 10 people go to Spain. This may be because there are lots of different resorts in Spain with many different activities to do. This is as I had predicted, I thought that because Spain is warm in the summer that most people would want to go there. Graph 1

2and a mark your neighbours work Then go on to correct any thing!!

What is next? What is the next step in the assessment? We have our questions, we have our results What do we need to do now in order to complete the assessment? Draw up the graphs on the computer Write a conclusion
