Predict the spelling Using Mini whiteboards Tell the students that you’re going to say a word and they have to try & write it down correctly. They have to really listen to the whole word. We usually do not sound the last consonant at the end of a word However, we do when: a)The consonant is C, R, F, L. To remember this think of CAREFUL ! b)the NEXT word begins with a vowel or h e.g. le mouton est blanc
