1. Isaiah 50:4-5

4. The disciple communes with God early each day.

5.  Guided by the Father's purpose. - Start the day with a morning talk with the Father.  Lived in anticipation of the Father's ways. - Any part of our life does not fit into what our Father wants becomes an idol that we serve.

6. The disciple attentively listens to and obeys God.

7.  God always gives us what we need to do His will.  God always has the greatest goals in mind in asking us to do something.  God never makes mistakes.  Once God has defined what He wants, any other response than what He requested becomes sin.

9. Hebrews 5:11-14

11.  Miss many blessings.  Susceptible to the wiles of the devil.  Regress to a state of spiritual immaturity.  Fail to bear fruit.
