1 On April 16, 2010 the Mountain Home Citizens On Patrol (COPs) were honored by an invite to the “Day Of The Child” at the Mountain Home Headstart. The COPs were going to provide fingerprinting services to the children who attended. The children who volunteered to have their fingerprints collected were provided with the fingerprint cards to give to their parents. Cpl Stan Winings, the COP Liaison Officer and COPs Fred Casiano and Fred Horn attended the event. The slide show will automatically advance itself. 6 If you would like to have the Citizens On Patrol (COP) at one of your functions for traffic control, fingerprinting your children or to provide you with a short talk about how the COP assist the city law enforcement folks in protecting the community please call Cpl Stan Winings at 587-2101.

7 The COPs invite your inquiries about their organization. The COPs are accepting applications for new members. Please call Cpl Stan Winings at 587-2101. Those interested in the program must meet the following Criteria: Have no arrests or convictions which would prohibit employment as a police officer. Pass a background investigation to include interviewing references, contact with police, driving records, and any other information useful in determining your character. Must be 18 or older, attend bimonthly meetings, patrol 8 hours a month and participate in community events.
