Sizing Session What to expect… Sizing sessions are held over several hours, you will be informed by your university representative prior to the sizing session of your allotted time to attend and where and when the session will take place. Please DO NOT try to access the sessions earlier than the allotted times given as you will not be granted entry to the room When you attend the sizing session, ladies will be asked for their normal retail size and men will be asked for their waist and chest size. It is important that you choose the size that fits you at the sizing session please do not choose a uniform a size smaller because you might lose weight or because you want a slimmer fit your roles are very active and you need to consider the amount of movement that your duties will demand of you You will be required to try on a representation of your pre-defined uniform based on your role although they may not necessarily be the correct colour Both male and female communal changing facilities are available and in addition to these there is always an individual cubicle should you wish for more privacy A member of Meltemi staff will complete a personalised order form with you to collate your size requirements. Should you require different sizes to our standard garments your measurements will be taken to ensure the right size is made for you. Meltemi will organise a sizing session that will enable you to order the correct size uniform for comfort and movement. It is essential that you attend a sizing session as your uniform is an extension of you and represents your chosen vocation.

Sizing Session What to expect… Cultural dress codes based on religion or belief should be considered sympathetically unless there are justifiable reasons, such as health and safety issues, for not permitting certain items of clothing. Cultural requirements will have been agreed as part of the uniform policy with the individual Universities and NHS trusts where your placement will be undertaken. If you require a cultural uniform please speak to a member of the Meltemi team who will advise you of the options available Distribution of your uniform is approximately 4 – 6 weeks after the sizing session, you will be advised by your university representative as to the date and time of your collection Should you need a different size in non bespoke items such as trousers Meltemi are happy to exchange these for you. However it is essential that you order the correct size in your bespoke garments that will have embroidery as we are unable to exchange embroidered items unless they have been incorrectly labelled or are faulty.
