There was 1 Robbery reported last week. On 7/15 at approximately 1057hrs, officers responded to a report of an unarmed robbery that occurred at Risley Rd. Vic stated that at approximately 1045hrs, she was walking from her home on Risley Rd toward Allendale Rd when a black male pulled up in a cream colored hatchback looking vehicle and snatched her wallet from under her arm. She had a pen and paper in her hand at the time of the incident and was able to take down the license plate (MA 458ZL3) of SP. SP was described as 6’-6’2” in height, black, husky build, wearing light clothing. Boston Police reported that the vehicle was stolen the previous night during a car jacking involving a knife in Mattapan on 7/14. The number plate is listed as a grey, 2007 Toyota Corolla/Matrix. Traffic Crashes YTD 2015 Year to date, there have been 798 crashes (reported through dispatch) Top Crash Prone Locations (specific intersections/addresses w/ multiple crashes): Horace James Circle – 28 Boylston/Hammond – 13 Boylston/Cypress – 10 Boylston/Washington – 7 Boylston/Dunster – 8 Hot Spots (areas with greater density of crashes): Brookline Village, Coolidge Corner, Cypress/Rte 9, Rte 9/Lee/CH Ave. Rte 9/Hammond, Horace James, Washington Square The day of the week with the greatest volume of crashes is Thursday, followed by Tuesday and Friday The time of day with the greatest number of crashes is between 1400 and 1600hrs, which coincides with the commute home after work. The time of day with the second greatest number of crashes is between 700 and 900hrs, which coincides with the commute to work.
