What are aids? AIDS stands for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, a disease that makes it difficult for the body to fight off infectious diseases. a disease in which there is a severe loss of the body's cellular immunity, greatly lowering the resistance to infection and malignancy

How do you get aids? You get aids by sexual contact / oral sex
Pregnancy , childbirth & breast feeding Blood transfusion and an organ transplant Injection drug use Occupational exposure

Can aids kill you? AIDS can kill the infected individual. The HIV virus, which results into the disease, is known to weaken the human immune system which in turn paves way for the opportunistic diseases that result to death.

Are aids passed genetic?
A mother can give HIV to her child while the baby is inside her or during childbirth. It is not genetic

Can you pass it on? Yes , you can pass AIDS on. By having oral sex and sexual contact with someone You can even pass it on by drinking out of someone else drink You can get it by just kissing someone

Do aids run in family genes?
Aids does not run in family genes If a pregnant lady gives birth naturally and she has aids most of the time the baby will get aids That’s why pregnant ladies with aids have to get a c-section
