In Installments 25% of the entitled grant April/May every year. 25% shall be released, after receiving the utilization certificate from the Branches. Balance 50%, after the receipt of the utilization certificate of the second installment.

Expenses incurred when Dignitaries visit the Branches to address the students. Expenses incurred when eminent persons visit the Branches to address the students. Provision of library facilities. Provision of reading room facilities. Expenses on social services rendered by CA students. Visit to Historical places. Lecture meetings for students.

Study circle meetings for students. Industrial visit. Educational Tour. Half Day seminar. Any other activity for students. Deficit, if any, incurred in organizing other activities for which specific grant is paid, could also be claimed as reimbursement out of Students’ Activities Grant. The Revenue Expenses for running Additional Reading Room(s).

Amount of Admissible Grant : Rs. 25,000/Actual Expenditure/Deficit whichever is less. Minimum 30 days notice should be given for organizing the Contest. Medium – English. If contestants more, the Contest could be held for two days also. The amount of grant shall remain the same. If Both held on the same date, grant would be restricted to Rs. 25,000/- only. All winners of Regional level Quiz Contest shall be eligible to participate in the All India Quiz Contest.

A nominal fee of Rs. 100/- per student is to be charged and Rs.300/- per student for a Mega Event of Two-days duration is to be charged. Amount of Admissible Grant : Maximum Rs. 30,000/- and in case the speaker(s) have been invited from other State(s) - Rs. 40,000/-, vis-a-vis Rs.300/- (In case of One-Day Seminar) and Rs. 600/- (In case of Mega Event of Two-days) per student registered for the Seminar or actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less.

The Regional Councils/Branches can organize one such Seminar per month out of which one Seminar in a year could be a Mega Seminar of two -days duration. No prior intimation is required. However, for organising any Mega seminar the registration of more than 500 students is expected, prior approval from BOS regarding structure of the programme shall be obtained by the Regional Offices/Branches.

The Branches can also organize Mock Tests under the One -day Seminar where the faculty could guide the students, after the evaluation of answer scripts on how to do the presentation. Such Mock Tests may be held separately for CPT, Intermediate (IPC) and Final students. Normally speaking there should be a gap of 30 days between the two programmes except for Mock Tests, but in case the programme(s) is being organized for different levels/subjects, more than one programme can be organized in a month.

However, the total number of programmes to be organized in a year shall not exceed 12, out of which one programme may be of two-days duration including Mock Test. The excess claim if any, arising out of conducting of Mock Test may be claimed as a deficit from Student Activity Grant. The amount of grant shall cover various costs expenses as follows: Hiring the hall. Honorarium to faculty.

Amount of Admissible Grant : upto Rs. 30,000/- under the category of One Day Seminar or out of Students’ Activity Grant. (subject to actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less). The Background material brought out by the Board of Studies shall be sent to the Regional Councils and Branches free of cost based on their requirements well in advance.

The Regional Councils/ Branches can organize the above programme of 3 -5 days duration on regular intervals (maximum 4 in a year) for CA Students and employees of CA Firms on a self supporting basis for which a nominal fee may be charged from the participants to cover the expenses. No prior intimation is required to be given to the Board of Studies.

Amount of Admissible Grant : Maximum Rs. 30,000/- per Programme subject to actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less. Such Programmes shall be organized twice a year after declaration of results but well before the next examinations of each term by the Regional Councils/Branches.

Minimum Participation of 300 Students (In case of National Conclaves) and 200 Students (In case of Regional/Sub-Regional Conferences ). A Minimum Fee of Rs. 300/- per student is to be charged. Duration of the Programme : Two Days It may be specifically noted that the amount of admissible grant is subject to the condition that the aggregate amount below two and actual deficit incurred, if any, (based on the audited accounts) whichever is lower:

Rs. 1,000/- per student registered for the programme. Reimbursement of travelling expenses of Technical Session Chair men (limited to 4 persons only), National Conclaves can be organized in each State of the Region and one Regional Students’ Conference and one Sub-Regional Students’ Conference can be organized in each Region based on approval granted by the Chairman, BOS. Advance, only for booking of the Hall/Auditorium can be paid, on receipt of the request from the host Branch/Regional Office.

No other programmes shall be clubbed with this. Cost of the mementoes shall not be more than the following amount:- For Chief Guest/Guest of Honour/Chief Guest at the Valedictory Session - Rs. 2,500. For Chairmen of Technical Sessions, etc – Rs. 1,500. Students Speakers – Rs. 750. An excess amount incurred, if any, will not be reimbursed.

The cost of the Conclave/Conference Kit should not normally exceed from Rs. 300/ - which includes bags, pen, writing pads, etc. No heavy amount is paid out of the grant by inviting Celebrity(ies)/Orchestra Party, etc at the Conference/Cultural Programme. Draft of dais plan must be sent to the Board of Studies at least 10 days before the date on which the Conclave/Conference is scheduled for its approval.

Under no circumstances, sponsorship from Private Coaching Institutes shall be accepted nor photography/videography session of faculties associated with Private Institutes with the President/Vice-President/Chairman, BOS/Vice- Chairman, BOS, ICAI and with any other dignitaries shall be organized during the programme.

Admissible Grant- Rs. 1,200/- per student registered for the programme. Reimbursement of Expenses incurred by the Paper Presenters at the Convention/Conference. They would also be paid DA @ Rs. 1,500/ - per day for maximum of five days whichever is less. Reimbursement of travel and stay expenses of Chairmen of Technical Sessions (limited to 4 persons only.

Six National Conventions can be organised in each Region with the approval of BOS. The National Convention may be planned atleast 2 months in advance and the International/All India Conference atleast 3 months in advance. Advance, only for booking of the Hall/Auditorium can be paid, on receipt of the request from the host Branch/Regional Office. No other programmes shall be clubbed with this.

Amount of Admissible Grant : Branches having membership upto 500 member - Rs. 1 lakh. Branches having membership between 501 -1,000 members - Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Branches having membership of more than 1,000 members - Rs. 2 lakhs.

Amount of Admissible Grant : subject to actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less: Branches having membership upto 500 member - Rs. 30,000. Branches having membership between 501 -1,000 members - Rs. 40,000. Branches having membership of more than 1,000 members - Rs. 50,000.

Amount of Admissible Grant For Two-day Seminar : Rs.1,25,000. For One-day Seminar : Rs. 75,000. Subject to actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less. Final details of the Joint Seminar should be ready at least 15 days before the commencement of the Seminar and it should be communicated to the Chairman and the Director, Boar d of Studies.

Amount of Admissible Grant : subject to actual expenditure/deficit whichever is less: Branches with less than 500 members - Rs. 30,000. Branches with more than 500 members but less than or equal to 999 members- Rs. 40,000. Branches with more than or equal to 1000 members - Rs. 50,000.

The Regional Council Offices in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Kanpur shall also be treated as Branches in case of Branch level competition. The Regional level competition shall be held in Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata & Delhi.

The report could be sent in soft copy followed by duly signed hard copy. In case no activity is carried out during any month, a NIL report shall also be sent. While sending the monthly activity report, Regional Councils/Branches may send the claim for activity(ies) organized during the month in the prescribed Annexure(s) as per the procedure, for prompt release of the admissible grant(s).
