Unique challenges in Lab Environment Projects have a Quadruple Bottom Line – Buildings that are commissioned and monitored are better than buildings that are left alone and unknown. – Air quality needs by space and use type are carefully thought through based upon current use of the building. This analysis is not needed in other building types. – Infrastructure is improved, reacquainting customers with energy efficiency funding that ultimately came from them. – Energy is saved, Carbon footprints are reduced as well as Greenhouse gas emissions 5
