2 Tourism Movements from Brazil to Turkey  Thanks to the economic stability in recent years, travels have increased to abroad from Brazil.  While the number of tourists travel to abroad approximately 4 million in 2006, this figure increased to 6.5 million in 2011.  Parallel to the increases in tourism movements between Turkey and Brazil are progress by each passing year.  As a result of direct flights of Turkish Airlines (THY) to Sao Paolo and promotional activities carried by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey the travel demands of Brazilian people to Turkey is increasing every day.

3 It is expected a significant contribute the number of tourists coming from Brazil to Turkey since the regular flights carried out by THY every day in the years 2012-2013. 4 One of the factors portrays tourism between Brazil and Turkey is TV series. According to News in Tourism (2012) the series of Salve Jorge which is publishing 6 days a week in “Globo” one of the most important television channels in Brazil is the number of significant increase in the interest in Turkey. It is filming in Turkey, Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus in progress. Tourism Movements from Brazil to Turkey

5 Tourism Movements from Russia to Turkey Turkey compensated the recession in the world in 2009 by opening up to the Russian market. We can reach our goals by taking tourists from countries such as Brazil China and India in the current environment of the worldwide economic crisis at the moment. We had increased our promotional activities in target markets as well as we are opening new consultancies in Russia, China, Australia and Brazil. 7 Travel motivations of Russian tourists are as in the following;  Sea tourism and recreation (water park-disko-animasyon),  Cultural tourism,  Shopping and  Winter tourism Russian tourists prefer to travel to Turkey in July, August and September and New Year period from May to June with a trip of 4-5 star hotels resorts. The most preferred destinations of Russian tourists in Turkey; Antalya, Marmaris, Bodrum, Kusadasi, Dalaman and Istanbul. 8 Tourism Movements from India to Turkey  It has been observed an increase in tourism movements from India to Turkey of in the last period.  According to data from January to September 2012 the number of visitors from India to Turkey increased by about 20 % was reached 66.420. Indian tourists there are three travel motivations; To travel expensive destinations, Fashion / historical values Seeing different cultures. There are about 300 large and small travel agency in India which have Turkey operations

9 Tourism Movements from China to Turkey Travel motivations of Chinese tourists are different in structure from other countries. Seeing more than one destination as a group, Culture, Gastronomy, Shopping, Photography and Visiting the museums The number of tourists from China to Turkey is about 80.000. Tourists coming from China spend their holidays in the destinations mainly in Istanbul, Aegean Region, Antalya, Cappadocia and Pamukkale.

10 Tourism Movements from China to Turkey  In the near future Turkey's relations with the BRICS countries, China as a large population and advanced country's economy will attract more tourists.  Turkish Airlines General Manager stated that they have focused on Russia, China, Africa on the market.  According to the data of 2012, the number of tourists from the Republic of China recorded an increase of about 20 % described.  The Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Promotion allocated the budget 1 million 250 thousand dollars in the year 2012 for the China market.

11 Tourism Movements from South Africa to Turkey  Tourism flows from South Africa to Turkey has increased around 19% in the last decade.  Tebogo Seokolo who is Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa (Ankara) stated that they want to improve their tourism and business relations between Turkey.  Tamer Taskin who is the Honorary Consul General of South Africa pointed out that South Africa has a great potential and those who outgoing to this country with prejudices are returned as satisfied with the service and facilities.

12  Turkey has wanted to develop a comprehensive political dialogue with African Countries by Africa Action Plan and put forward it to promote relations and cooperation with them from the second half of the 1990s up to now.  In the South African markets, Turkish companies have the business in; Tourism, Trade, Electrical appliances, Textiles, and Food sectors are operating. Similarly, the investors coming from South Africa are investing in different areas in Turkey. Tourism Movements from South Africa to Turkey

13  In order to increase economic and trade relations between the two countries- South Africa Business Council was established in Turkey in 1997. Business Council continues the initiatives to sign the Free Trade Agreement on every platform.  The Chair of Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) Rızanur Meral, stated that they expect to attract more investors from South Africa and reciprocating tourism movements between the country (Deik, 2013; Tuskon, 2013).  The citizens of the two countries with a valid passport can travel without visa up to 30 days.
