1. Activator This is your second week of activators. In the Monday Block, please write “ear parts summary”. Please take out your notes on the parts of the ear from Friday. Go to the bottom portion of your Cornell Notes (summary) or you can use the back of your model ear. Then, answer using details from notes the following question… How do the parts of the ear work together so we can hear?

2. Topic: Ear Care Essential Question: How can you take care of your ears?

3. Activator In the Tuesday Block, please answer the following… What is tinnitus? Who does it affect? Is the damage repairable?

4. Topic: Vocal Cords EQ: How do we make sound?

5. Activator Write “substitute” in the Wednesday Block. Answer the following in the Thursday Block… How do the vocal cords make sounds? Sequence all the steps.

6. Activator I will be collecting two weeks worth of activators today. This is week 03-07 and week 03-14. Please be prepared to submit or turn in your activator. In the Friday Block, please write/type “study for test”. Then, take out all of your notes, section review, model ear and worksheet packet. You have 10 minutes to study for the ear and vocal cords test. Write down any questions that you have in the Friday Block as well.
