Only through the service of volunteers can this be accomplished! What additional needs do volunteers fill? Why are volunteers important?

We recommend at least 7 th grade and 12 years of age There are exceptions if your site is not serving children entering 1-6 grades Youth Volunteers

Must Have’s On-Site Volunteer/Visitor table close to site entrance Volunteer room (separate from site team room) Computer with internet access and attached printer Secure location for volunteer screening forms Nametags for volunteers

Volunteers are never to be left alone with a child/children. Volunteers should work with children in the mentor’s room.
