9 This young lady was celebrating her 19 th birthday with a “birthday scavenger” hunt. Raising money for WAFER, was just one of her stops. This group of ladies planned an event of raffles, silent auctions, food, music, and much more. A portion of the proceeds benefitted WAFER. Grandma’s Gone Wild

10 UW-L Students went “Trick or Treating” These students did a “souper” job collecting food for WAFER.

11 Employees from LHI in the Data Control and Customer Service departments had a food drive competition, “Race to End Hunger”. They collected 7664 items weighing 6405 pounds. Customer service may have won by bringing the most items, but it was really WAFER clients who won because of their big hearts! The I&S Group and 201 Main St businesses constructed a Christmas tree display and a “toy train” (out of canned goods) for the holiday instead of purchasing a live tree.
