11 Three Goals for the session Goals are action verbs “Learn about X” vs. “Describe X” or “Use X to …” Outline the session – be sure to address the goals Give it a title The Title is Everything Clever is good Sex sells, but show some dignity Sketch it out

12 The Abstract is your sales pitch The Setup: What problem will you solve? The Delivery: What’s in the session? (Outline) The Payoff: Three goals of the session Define your audience skill level Note: This is all you need to do in order to submit a session The Abstract
