5. Living Room Conflict Eric The living room is messy. Some of my comic books are lying around. I’m going through them because I want to trade some of them with my friends. I also have a game on the floor I wanted to play with my sister. I need it to stay there so we can finish it later. I like the living room because that’s where my family is. Eric’s Mom The living room is messy! Eric’s comic books and a game are lying around, and I keep having to step over it all. I want to keep the room organized because everyone in the family uses it, and it is the first room guests see when they come over. Eric’s things are in the way, and he needs to pick up after himself. His stuff should be in his room.

Brenda’s mom went to a parochial where students wore uniforms, and she thinks discipline is much better when there is a dress code.
