Campus Recruiting Database and Analytics This vendor maintains a campus recruiting database that enables employers to identify specific majors to recruit from over 185 majors at 2,740 four-year colleges and can pin point a salary for a major at a specific school All data are drawn from statistically significant surveys of more than 400,000 employers to develop a database that contains 90% of the occupations in the workforce with robust coverage of professional, sales, educational, engineering, IT, etc. Uses an O*NET standards-based (O*NET is the Gold Standard) of 900 basic occupations + work levels vs. typical listings of only 400 occupations from major consultancies

Campus Recruiting Database and Analytics The database has real data on 560 metro and non-metro area vs. the traditional “metro area only” approach which requires application of regional adjustments factors Occupations are included in data set only if there are at least 25 or more respondents for that occ in a region from within the past 12 months and the data is dynamically adjusted each week as data flows in and out As this a data provider not a consultancy, costs are approximately 20% of what typical consultant’s fees are for similar projects. Over 5,000 employers currently use these data services, including more than 200 of the Fortune 500.

Case Studies #1 Identification of New Schools to Recruit From Engineering company was competing for new graduates in nuclear engineering and physics. Vendor provided a list of 22 schools which were graduating these majors, and which were previously unknown to client. #2 Location of Schools with Robust Graduating Populations IT company needed comp sci and EE grads with salary info. We provided listing of state schools in mid west and south that had not been ‘picked over’. #3 Replacement of Retiring Petroleum Engineers with Graduates from Majors other than Petroleum Engineering Client had a large percentage of workers retiring in next 5 years with not enough petroleum engineering graduating from schools to replace the retirees. Vendor provided data showing 2 other majors were applicable to petroleum engineering and the workers stayed in petroleum industry at wages similar to peers.
