5. Characteristics and features of the climate region The mediteranean houses many wild life such as: goats; sheep; cattle; mouflon, and horses. Also, the land supports lynx, wild boar, rabbits, vultures and three types of eagles. Plus, many small mammals, reptiles and insects inhabit this region.

6. But wait, there’s more… Evergreens such as Pine and Cypress trees are mixed with deciduous tress such as some Oaks. Fruit trees and vines such as grapes, figs, olives, and citrus fruits grow well here.
