Participation open to all Kentucky farmers. o Farmers must complete participant agreement form. Farmers deliver to food bank warehouse. o Delivery costs included in price caps. KAFB negotiates all transactions and determines delivery location.

Farmer prepares a detailed invoice to include with produce delivery. Food bank staff verify delivery and determine total weight of delivery. Food bank staff sign invoice and forward to KAFB to process payment. KAFB issues a check to farmer within 2 weeks.

Any edible agricultural product donated to nonprofit food programs. Credit=10% of value.

Donor (farmer) determines value of donation. o Copy of retail receipt for comparable grade and quality. o If no previous sale, value determined by weekly regional produce auction prices or USDA prices.
