2. Fun Facts:
#1 As weapons Wampanoag hunters and warriors used bows, arrows, and wooden clubs. Fishermen used nets called weirs and bone hooks. #2 For clothes the Wampanoag men did not need to wear a shirt. Women wore knee-length skirts. Men wore breech cloths with leggings. They dressed in deerskin mantles in the cold weather. They wore moccasins as shoes. The Wampanoag only wore a beaded headband with a feather or two.

3. How The First Thanksgiving Came To Be
When you hear about the Pilgrims and “the Indians” peacefully sharing The First Thanksgiving meal in 1621, those Indians are the ancestors of the modern members of the Wampanoag Nation.
