What is it? It is a compass. It shows you a direction and tells you where you are.

Points to Note: When we talk about directions, we usually use the preposition “in” and “on”. If we talk about a building and a place that can be found in an area, we use the preposition “in”. If we talk about a building and a place that can be found on a street, an island and a coast, we use the preposition “on”.
