Workplace Telecare Showcase To address issues of health and well-being in the workplace We will provide an immersive experience for participants To give participants a sense of the changes (improvements) telecare might provide for employers and employees To be realised in a virtual world – Second Life

3. Workplace Telecare Showcase Why Second Life? Virtual environment allows rapid, cheap development of virtual spaces (such as office, doctor’s consultation room, hospital ward). Animated objects allow interactions to be built in to the virtual spaces. Access to Second Life is free and easy to achieve. Development team can invite and guide participants, wherever they might be located in ‘Real Life’.
