2 The Vision The Federal, South Australian & Northern Territory governments have long held the vision to link southern and northern Australia by constructing a railway between Alice Springs & Darwin. Revived, when the Australasia Railway Corporation called for expressions of interest from around the world to B.O.O.T project

3 The Project Construction of the new 1420 km stretch of standard gauge line between Alice Springs and Darwin Lease and maintenance of the existing 830 km line between Tarcoola and Alice Springs and the new line Integration of the railway line with Darwin’s East Arm Port, which includes a railway causeway and intermodal container terminal Operation of railway terminals at Adelaide, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, and Darwin
