Hunters and gatherers- members of homo sapiens who spent many hours searching for food. Environment-surroundings where man had to adapt to nature. Paleolithic era –the old stone age when man had to make tools from stone. Role-the responsibility a person plays in a society. Early man

Surplus-an extra supply you can use to trade for more goods. Domestication-to tame plants or animals for human use. Barter-trade for things people want. Irrigation-ways to move water to land. Famers and city dwellers
