It is important for students to understand how thing work in this world and how to be able to find out these things. I really like teaching science. Where can I find the best science resources? The internet!! I don’t know where I would be without it. You can use the book as a foundation but the internet always makes a lesson better. 3 Reflection After interviewing Mrs. Mischo I felt excited about teaching science this spring semester. Though she told me that the concepts are often difficult to get the children to understand, the learning process. definitely fun for the students and the teacher. This was her second year teaching and she admitted that she didn’t know everything yet, but I do feel that she helped me gain an understanding of what I’m getting into next semester. After interviewing Mrs. Mischo I felt excited about teaching science this spring semester. 6 Reflection After doing this inquiry with my students I realized that hands on activities are some of the best ways to get students to understand. They are fun, they keep the students focused, and the classroom stays managed effectively when done properly. 8 Reflection Trackstar is a fun and great way to utilize technology in your class. Students are able to sharpen their computer skills while using them to answer questions pertaining to science information. I will definitely use this in my classroom.
