If it was not why, if it was why? 2.Do you think it would have been easy to write the apology if you were the one who had to apologize to someone. 3.Give your students the opportunity to explain how they can be more forgiving. 4.Ask them is there someone they need to apologize to? 12 12 P.A.W. INTEEN Supplement Spring 2016 May 15, 2016 What does it mean to be humble? Humble total self denial and being a slave for God’s will. Jesus put on human flesh, humbled Himself to the will of God and in the end He die for our sins. To be humble we have to follow the will of God not the will of our flesh. See, read and feel how Jesus showed his humility. SEE: Show the young people a small clip of Jesus being beaten and hung to die for our sins. READ: Matthew 12: 19-20, 20:28; John 5: 30-32 Feel: Tell me what you think it was like to be humble unto the cross for sins you did not commit. 13 13 P.A.W. INTEEN Supplement Spring 2016 March 22, 2016 The enemy has several tricks he likes to use to prevent you from activating your confidence and faith in God. Doubt – Makes you questions God’s word and his goodness Discouragement – Makes you look at yourself what wrong with me, I have problems, but we should be focused on God. Our ever desire should be his (God’s) will for our life. Diversion – makes wrong things seem more pleasurable than doing the right thing Defeat – You are already beaten so, why put forth the energy there is no way you can come back from this one. Delay – Procrastination, so you never get anything done To combat this trick here are some scriptures to help you be confident.
