How do we form it? have or have + past participle Examples:she has read, I have done, they have told,...

When do we use it? if something has happened in the past and you can see a result in the present Examples: I have already washed the car. Look, it‘s standing outside. I have already done the ironing. The pressed clothes are lying over there.

often used with ever, just, for, since, already,... Examples: Susan has lived in New York for five years. He has been to his new girlfriend since five o‘clock p.m.

It‘s important THAT something happened! The opposite is past simple, there it‘s important WHEN something happened!
