You will discuss the answers written on the Promethean by your classmates. 4. Record the story elements in your ELA binder after you have discussion with your classmates on the story elements and reach a consensus. 2 1. Retrieve an iPad for the group and type in this website: https://www.flocabulary.com/fivethings/. https://www.flocabulary.com/fivethings/ 2. Watch the Flocabulary video on story elements. 3. After your group has watched the video to reinforce learning, pass the iPad around to the different group members and take the interactive quiz. 4. Next, complete the interactive fill-in-the-blank activity. 3 iMovie App Get ready to retell your favorite fiction story! 1.Review the story elements from “Off and Running” with others in your group. 2.Using the iMovie app, create a video which details the story elements from that story. Using http://www.safesearchkids.com, search for video clips and pictures which add to the movie. 3.Select appropriate theme music and background design for your movie. 4.Have each group member insert a video of themselves talking about one of the story elements. 5.Title and save your movie. 6.Log into Blackboard and post your video in the iMovie Discussion Board for grading according to the rubric. 4 Sharing the iMovie Get ready to write your fiction story! 1.Review the elements of the story “Off and Running” with those at your table. 2.Get an iPad and retrieve the iMovie created by the students in the OTHER ELA class. 3.Using the mirroring feature on the iPad, utilize Apple TV to cast the iPad movie to the television screen for all in the class to see. 4.Once the iMovie has been viewed, discuss with your classmates! Evaluate the movie, discussing the strengths and weaknesses of the presentation and post a reply to the class from the iMovie Discussion Board.
