5. Massage is so far the most promising occupation for the Blind particularly in Asia! Massage can be divided in to two main categories: health massage and medical massage.

8. Four years ago, blind masseurs in Thailand were prohibited to take the nationa health examination be a medical licensed masseur.

9. After several consultations and serious meetings with the high officials of Health Ministry, finally, blind masseurs are permitted to take the National Health Examination. This can be marked as the historic turning point of the occupation of the Blind in Thailand.

10. At this moment, there are 34 blind medical licensed masseurs and masseuses. These people are qualified to establish medical clinics and can treat their patients with professional dignity.
