Philosophical Statement  All students have the right to a safe, welcoming classroom.  Students should feel comfortable in the classroom.  Students are challenged in order for them to reach high expectations.  Students are encouraged, and expected, to participate in discussion and group work.  Students should have a mutual respect for their teacher, built by one-on-one interactions and a comfortable environment.
