2 Philosophical Statement  All students have the right to a safe, welcoming classroom.  Students should feel comfortable in the classroom.  Students are challenged in order for them to reach high expectations.  Students are encouraged, and expected, to participate in discussion and group work.  Students should have a mutual respect for their teacher, built by one-on-one interactions and a comfortable environment.

3 Classroom Setting  4 Math classes Non-leveled, students are  4 ELA classes 1 of which is an inclusion class

4 Classroom Rules  Be polite  Be punctual  Be prepared  Be Respectful  Not trying is not an option

5 Consequences  Verbal Warning  Student- Teacher conference (in class or hall)  Lunch Detention  Call home  Office Referral

6 Daily Routine/ Procedures  Warm-Up  Bathroom Passes  Pencils/Supplies  Turning in work  Pencil Sharpening/ Kleenex
