4 Systemic Approach, Not Program SUN Community Schools describes schools across Multnomah County where: The school and partners from across the community come together to educate and support kids and have a collective impact on education. Community resources are strategically organized to support student success. SUN Community Schools is NOT a program in schools.

10 How is this supported at our school? Lead Agency: the non-profit partner that receives seed funding to support the development of the SUN Community School collaboration. Brings expertise and connections to resources in the community and within the lead agency. Site Manager: hired by the Lead Agency to co-manage with the Principal the development of the SUN Community School. Acts as the “glue” to bring the partners and pieces together.
