STEP-1 START PROTEUS Click on START button and you will get “ Proteus 7 professional “ Install Lab Center Proteus in the PC. After Successful installation go to start menu and click on the “Proteus 7 Professional”.
3
STEP-2 Click on the “ISIS 7 Professional” Click on the “ISIS 7 Professional ” to start Proteus window.
4
STEP-3 After clicking the “ISIS 7 Professional” a window will pop out. Workbench window
5
STEP-4 Click on this icon to get the component mode On clicking this icon you will get component mode which will be used to select the components.
6
STEP-5 Click on this icon to pick components from the library On clicking this icon we can access different types of components available with this software.
7
STEP-6 On clicking the ICON ‘P’ a window named “ Pick Devices” pops out. On clicking icon ‘P’ a window “ Pick Devices” pops out which is used to select the components according to categories.
8
STEP-7 Space is provide for typing purpose e.g., AT89C51 Space is provided below the word “Keywords:” to type the name of the component according to the requirement. This shows the preview of the COMPONENT. This shows the PCB preview
9
STEP-8 E.g. on typing the word “ADC0809” we get its PREVIEW and also PCB preview. Click ON the OK button to select the component On clicking the OK button the component name which have been typed is selected and can be dropped down on the workspace bench. On double clicking this we can also select the component
10
STEP-9 This space is generally for the selected components. This space is generally for the components that is being selected for the purpose ( experiment ).
11
STEP-10 1 2 1.On a single click the component is selected. 2.When you will click the component and on bringing the cursor on workspace it will drop down the component.
12
STEP-11 Here the component is dropped on the workspace.
13
STEP-12 This ICON is used for automatic wire router. On clicking this BUTTON the automatic wire router will be activated.
14
STEP-13 Wire has been created On activating the automatic wire router the wire will be automatically connected with the components to be connected just by touching at the pin of the component and pressing enter and dragging the wire to the pin of the component to be connected.
15
STEP-14 Press the button for Terminal Mode TERMINAL MODE is used for selecting input, output, power, ground etc.
16
STEP-15 Press the icon for GENERATOR MODE GENERATOR MODE is used for generating signals like sine wave, cosine wave etc.
17
STEP-15 Press the ICON for VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT MODE VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT MODE is used for accessing the instruments like Oscilloscope, AC Voltmeter, Ac Ammeter etc.
18
STEP-17 VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTS This is the complete schematic diagram of a circuit.
19
STEP-18 Pop up window for programmi ng the MICROCON TROLLER For programming the microcontroller you have to double click on the microcontroller and a window will pop out and load the hex file Click on this icon to load the hex file
20
STEP-19 Window will pop out for loading the hex file to the microcontroller.
21
STEP-20 Click on this to RUN the program as well as the SCHEMATIC Click on the PLAY button to run the SIMULATION. Before RUN you have to save the schematic by clicking on this button
22
STEP-21 Virtual Digital Oscilloscope Virtual Signal Generator Here the Simulation of the circuit can be seen. Virtual Digital Oscilloscope is used to view the input and output signals. We can control the signal by using the volt/division. Virtual Signal Generator is used for supply.
23
CONCLUSION By following the above 21 steps we can design any type of circuit and can do the simulation.
