22 Mid-Program Assessment of Academy Completion Required to complete 50% of total required hours (60 hours) Minimum of four (4) STAR documents in each of the Florida Principal Leadership Standards STAR documents are rated by supervisor on a scale of 0-3 Earn minimum of 20 points on STAR documents Fewer than 10 points: removal from program for one calendar year More than 10 points, less than 20 points: continue on probationary basis

23 STAR Situation: Identify a situation or challenge. Task: Describe what it is you had to achieve. Action: Give a decisive, structured decision of what you did, your reasons for choosing this action, the alternatives you considered and rejected. Result: What did you achieve and was it the desired outcome? Would you alter your actions if faced with a similar situation again? Why or why not?

24 Final Assessment of Academy Completion Required to complete 100% of total required hours (120 hours) STAR documents are rated by supervisor on a scale of 0-3 Earn minimum 130 points on STAR documents
