9 Mathematics in 2004 Current implementation plan suspended At least 60% Numeracy “Stage not age” –MiNZC levels suspended Integrate other strands or cover over a two year period Create an algorithm free zone in classes

10 Project Books Will be issued at workshops Books allocated on the number of classes, not teachers ( extra copies can be purchased from Learning Media @$70 per set of 8) Teachers property providing they complete the 5 workshops and 4 visits

11 Budget/Funding Contract funding-$450 per class Proposals Pool Funding-decile related - $650 per class -Video camera included Equipment will need to be purchased for every class

13 Assessment NumPA to be administered to all children February, October Initial results online by April 30 Formative assessment is integral to the Project Modelling Books required and help with assessment Reporting to parents: stage as opposed to levels

14 Staff Changes Inform your facilitator of staff changes as soon as possible Inclusion of new staff into Project will depend on when this occurs
